A bit about me…

cropped-option2

Hi. I am 42 and live in Australia.

I have two children.

I have been a Vegetarian for 24 years.

One day my Dad, whom I loved beyond measure was diagnosed with one of the cruelest cancers.  Pancreatic Cancer.  It was toward the end of his life that I started to want another child.  I got pregnant the month he died and miscarried three months later – the second saddest day of my life.  Since then I have wanted a baby more than ever.  I know I am filling a void, but that’s just the way it is.

This blog is to share pieces of that journey.

    Hi Liza,

I came across your blog while searching for info around Femara and TCM. Other than acupuncture, can you tell me what TCM you were doing while taking Femara? Was it herbs? If so, which ones?

    TIA and Good Luck!

      Hi Anya

Yes, it was herbs I was taking. My Acu is also a Herbalist and she made them up specifically for my situation. Unfortunately they are all written in Chinese but I could try to reel them off if you like. They were granules – from China – that I mixed with water, looked like mud and tasted like you know what :) I think they were great for me though.

      Good luck with Femara!
